This school offers great options. They offer the part-time day program, part-time evening program, your traditional JD program, which is three years, and they offer a SCALE program.
It is the first of its kind. It's called "Southwestern's Conceptual Approach to Legal Education." So that's how we get the acronym SCALE.
The ideal candidate is a person who's decided that they really want to go to law school, and they'd like to do it as rapidly as possible. We have an evening program where people come two times a week. They will also be able to do a portion of the work from their home computer or their office computer.
From our inception in 1911, we had an evening program and a day program, and that's continued all along.
You can get both an MBA and a JD while you're here. The history of this school has been to attract smart people who want to do the work to become really excellent lawyers. We have adjusted so that we can attract just those students-- the students who may be taking the care of an elder mom or dad. But they've got the smarts and the willingness to work hard. So we've got a program for you.
